Dr. Deanna Minich, PhD
Chief Science Officer and Nutrition Scientist
Deanna Minich is Symphony Natural Health's Chief Science Officer and a nutrition scientist with more than 25 years spanning academia, research and the supplement industry. She holds a PhD in Medical Sciences and an MS in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist and Fellow of the American College of Nutrition.
She spent a decade on the research and development team at Metagenics under Dr. Jeffrey Bland, widely regarded as the father of functional medicine, and helped establish his Personalized Lifestyle Medicine Institute, where she now serves on the board. She is a past president of the American College of Nutrition, spent seven years on the board of the American Nutrition Association, and is adjunct faculty at the University of Western States.
Deanna has written seven books, including The Rainbow Diet, and published more than 50 scientific papers. She is lead author on Symphony's recent FSH publication and received the 2025 Linus and Ava Helen Pauling Award, the highest honor in functional medicine. At Symphony she guides the Medical and Science Team's research into the root causes of women's hormonal health.
