Dr Tori Hudson N.D.

 Dr. Tori Hudson

Dr. Hudson is a leader and empowerer in women’s health and regarded as one of the top Integrative Practitioners in Women’s Health in the United States.

Dr. Hudson is a Naturopathic Physician, graduated from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in 1984 where she has since served in many capacities including becoming the first woman full professor of Naturopathic Medicine in the United States, Medical Director and Associate Academic Dean. She also empowers women and doctors alike in her roles as medical director of A Woman’s Time clinic in Portland, Oregon, clinical Professor at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine, Bastyr University and Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Program Director Institute of Women’s Health and Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Hudson was awarded the President's Award from the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians for her research in the field of women’s health in 1990, the prestigious Naturopathic Physician of the Year Award in 1999, the NCNM Alumni Pioneer Award in 2003, the Natural Products Association Pioneer Award in 2009 and was inducsted into the NCNM Hall of Fame in 2012.

Dr. Hudson is a national lecturer and author of the book Women’s Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine, second edition 2008 as well as a contributor to several other major books in natural medicine, including the Textbook of Natural Medicine and Integrative Women's Health. She has over 30 years of experience and expertise in women’s health utilizing nutrition, nutraceuticals, herbs, bio-identical hormones and other therapies to treat all gynecological and primary care conditions. Her experience extends into research and education where she has been a guest lecturer at Oregon Health Sciences University, Alta Bates Medical Center, University of North Carolina, Kaiser Permanente, St. Charles Hospital and other medical schools and institutions. Dr. Hudson also appears on many local and network radio and TV programs including appearances on “Good Morning America”, PBS’s “Healthy Living Series”, and Lifetime’s “New Attitudes.”

She has published several research papers on women’s health and writes regularly for The Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients, Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine and natural health magazines such as Taste for Life and Pilates Style with additional articles in Health, Good Housekeeping, Prevention, American Health, Vegetarian Times, Fitness and Healthy Living.

Henry Meissner Ph.D

Dr. Henry Meissner

Dr. Meissner is a leader in the Natural Products Industry and regard as one of top developers of herbal products in the world. Dr. Meissner has over forty-five years experience in the natural products industry and is the Head of Symphony Natural Health’s Research and Development. He is the first scientist in the world to successfully derive therapeutic doses of melatonin from plants – Herbatonin and developed the ground breaking product in women’s health – Femmenessence. Even more impressive is that Dr. Meissner developed Herbatonin over 15 years ago and began developing Femmenessence in 1999, three years before the release of the women’s health initiative as he knew that there had to be a better alternative to support a woman’s hormone balance than introducing them into the body.

He has a Bachelor of Science, a Masters in Environmental Physiology and a PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry. Achievements include an award for being one of the “2000 outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century" from The International Bibliographical Center, Cambridge, England (2001), and "Five Hundred Leaders of Influence" from American Bibliographical Institute (2000). Through his academic endeavors he has empowered the health industry, serving on a variety of academic and research boards throughout his career and has published over 300 research and technical papers in professional journals.

Dr. Meissner’s diversity of projects has taken him around the world. He has undertaken projects in Poland, New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, China, Japan, India, Hawaii and Peru. He is currently the Executive Director of Technology Transfer and Development International a company that specializes in the design of dietary supplements, medicinal herbal products and functional foods. He was also the Chairman of Therapeutic Research Oceania, Chairman of the Greening China Fund in Hong Kong – ZhuHai, China; Project Coordinator for the Therapeutic Research Project on Medicinal Herbs at the Research Institute for Medicinal Herbs in Poznan, Poland. During 40 years of theoretical and technical research on herbal extracts and biochemical and nutritional aspects of their clinical and practical application, Dr. Meissner has designed functional dietary preparations, health and herbal therapeutic products and established commercial-scale extraction and fractionation facilities. He has implemented technologies for processing medicinal herbs and biomass from a wide range of cultivated plant species and has designed, established and coordinated a multi-disciplinary international environmental project for ecological rehabilitation and sustainable agriculture in China. Over the last ten years he has also designed and headed up numerous pharmacognostic and clinical studies on natural therapeutics and medicinal preparations for use as preventive and all-natural dietary supplements for a variety of health conditions.


Dr. Peter Bablis D.C., N.D., L.Ac., Dip. Herbalism, Homeopathy, Clinical Nutrition, Ph.D

Dr. Bablis is a leader in integrative medicine. Apart from nearly having a degree in every modality in integrative health, he is also regarded as one of the fore fathers of Neuro-Emotional Technique (N.E.T.) He has been a Chiropractor and specialist health care professional practicing in Sydney, Australia for the past 20 years. He has post-graduate qualifications in Acupuncture, Sports Medicine, Clinical Nutrition, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Medical Herbalism, Iridology and Kinesiology. He completed his PhD. at Macquarie University in Psychosomatic Medicine. He is well known and respected in his field for his groundbreaking work in Mind Body Medicine, Chiropractic and specialized Kinesiology techniques. He is a Director and the Research Chair of a Non-Profit Research Foundation called One Foundation investigating Mind Body Medicine.


Jan Roberts B.Pharm (Hons), Dip. Clinical Nutrition

Jan Roberts

Jan Roberts is a leader in pre conception health and fertility and a champion of consciousness. She has spent almost 40 years in the health care industry, 20 of those working in the area of women’s reproductive health. As a pharmacist for the first 20 years of her career she saw the major flaws with allopathic medicines crisis care approach and disease mentality. So after going back to university and getting a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Nutrition she started her journey into health and education. Ms. Roberts is the Australian representative for Foresight, the British Association famous for its work in promoting preconception health care and co-author of the international best-selling series

She was the co-founder of one of the first Wellness Centers in Australia, later becoming the Director of Integrative Medicine at Spa Chakra - Australia’s premier day spa where she developed programs for preconception, anti-ageing, vitality and longevity. Now, as Director of, she provides educational material and complementary programs, services and products that support clients in their quest for total health and wellbeing - work which has great synergy with her role with Symphony Natural Health in New Product Development.


Corey Schuler DC, MS, LN

 Dr. Corey Schuler

Dr. Corey Schuler is an empowerer and thus naturally resonates with his role with Symphony Natural Health. Dr. Schuler’s “why” is asking why again and again and again until he understands everything. His interests include investigating new literature or research on integrative health, writing or editing many of our educational pieces, two page responses to customers who have emailed our Medical Team, his family and jumping on stage to sing.

Dr. Schuler is an active member of the Institute for Functional Medicine, American College of Nutrition, American Nutrition Association, National Association of Nutrition Professionals, American Academy of Integrative Medicine, Primal Docs, Paleo Physicians Network, and Ancestral Health Society. 

Dr. Schuler received his original clinical training at Northwestern Health Sciences University where he completed a doctor of chiropractic and acupuncture certificate. He completed an MS in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport with elective training in botanical medicine. He became a certified nutrition specialist (CNS®) and licensed nutritionist by the Minnesota Board of Dietetics and Nutrition Practice. He is a graduate of Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) and Functional Medicine University. Prior to chiropractic college, he was a research chemist with a degree from Valparaiso University.

Dr. Schuler is also a nationally recognized expert in the field of natural health and metabolism. He is often interviewed for radio and magazines being a featured guest of Elevate Your Energy, Underground Wellness, Five to Thrive Live, Rochester General Hospital (New York), Primal Diet Modern Health, Doctor Health Radio, Let’s Get Healthy with Bill Swail, Good News Health Show, Healthy Choices, as well as Men’s Fitness and Strategy magazines.

Dr. Schuler owns and operates the Metabolic Treatment Center in Bloomington, Minnesota which emphasizes functional medicine approaches to mood and hormonal conditions.

Shannon Wood N.D., L.M., M.S.

Dr. Wood is an empowerer and strong advocate for women’s health as shown by credentials as a Naturopathic Doctor and Licensed Midwife. Dr. Wood has always had too much personality to just be a doctor in clinical practice so was a natural fit to educate customers, stores and doctors around the bay area. Her journey into wellness began with a Master’s of Science Degree in Nutritional Science at California State University, Chico. She subsequently attended Bastyr University in Washington State where she completed her Naturopathic degree in 2005 and began practice as a Licensed Midwife. Her love of supporting women combined with travel led her to a volunteer opportunity on the Island of Vanuatu in the South Pacific providing further opportunity to enhance her medical skills and knowledge in labor and delivery. Upon returning, Dr. Wood worked at various medical clinics in Seattle where she practiced medicine for several years before moving to the Bay area.

Dr. Wood has extensive experience in all aspects of women’s health, is in private practice with a specialized focus in natural hormone solutions and lectures frequently on the topic of women’s health. She has a special passion for empowering and educating women about the role that hormones play in almost all aspects of health and is one of SNH’s Medical Educators and Health Professional Sales Team in Northern California


Christina Youngren N.D.

Dr. Christina Youngren is an empowerer and forever in discussions with her husband who is a Ph.D and one of the top cancer researchers in San Francisco. Dr. Youngren is nationally board-certified by the North Atlantic Board Naturopathic Exam and licensed to practice medicine in California and Arizona. A graduate of Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Science, She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Minnesota and pre-medical training with a biochemistry concentration at San Francisco State University. Dr. Youngren’s two-year clinical internship included all naturopathic modalities. She completed a one-year fellowship in Environmental Medicine under the directorship of Dr. Walter Crinnion who is regarded as one of the leading experts in environmental medicine. Her medical training also included pharmaceutical medications and their interactions with natural remedies. Dr. Youngren currently holds an adjunct faculty position as supervising physician in the environmental medicine department at the Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center.

Her medical practice centers on environmental medicine, women’s health, preconception care/fertility, and metabolic disorders. Due to the increasingly important link between environmental influences and cancer, Dr. Youngren has directed her interest towards oncology. She focuses on environmental health when addressing each patient. Dr. Youngren is committed to helping her patients prevent the ill effects of environmental factors on their health, especially when it comes to preconception care, pregnancy, and cancer.
